The Butler SWCD is involved with several projects, including:
- Floating Treatment Wetlands
- Talawanda HS Outdoor Learning Lab
- Edgewood HS Project
- The Beckett Ridge Water Quality Basin which a concrete channeled detention basin was restored to a storm water wetland
- Stream bank restoration in West Chester Township
- Mill Creek Headwaters Project a large project with several components
- Drinking Water Protection Plan for the Village of New Miami (pdf)
- St. Clair Township Comprehensive Plan
- Edgewood High School Source Water Project: Develop designs/concept to ensure water quality and sustainability at the new high school building
- The World beneath Your Feet educational trailer
- Tree Planting in the City of Fairfield with the Izaak Walton League
- Clean Sweep of the Great Miami River: An annual river clean-up
- Butler County Children's Water Festival: an educational event for about 1,000 local elementary students to learn all about water resources, safety, wildlife and much more
