No-Till Drill Rental
Butler Soil and Water Conservation District has a no-till drill for rent:
Model: John Deere 1590
Seeding Width: 10 ft. with 7.5” disc spacing
Transport Width: 11 ft
Tractor required: The 10’ drill requires at least a 75 HP tractor with dual hydraulic hook-up for down pressure and uplift. The drill itself carries some hydraulic adapters
Will Seed: No-till or semi-conventional tillage seedings of soybeans, wheat, small grains, hay, pasture or other small seeds.
Seeding Area: Acre meter attached.
Transport: SWCD will deliver to seeding site and explain operation and assist in setting equipment for site, if requested.

Cost: $10.50/acre ($75.00 minimum). The fee includes delivery to the planting site and assistance with seeding adjustments.
