No-Till Drill for Sale
The Board of Supervisors of the Butler Soil & Water Conservation District recently decided to terminate our no-till drill program and sell our 2006 model John Deere 1590 No-Till Drill.
We will sell the drill through a sealed bid public process. To bid, place your name, address, phone number and price offered on a sheet of paper and send it to our office, at the above address, by February 14th. Please write DRILL BID on the outside of the envelope, so that all bids can be opened at a designated time. The board of supervisors will open the bids at the February 18th board meeting and has the right to reject any and all bids.
Sealed bids must be received by 4:00 PM on February 14, 2014.
There has been lots of maintenance performed on the drill in the last two years and the District has records of all maintenance and repairs. All major components have been replaced in the last two years including discs, boots, bearings, some closing wheels, etc. If interested in bidding, look over the attached specification list and if you want to examine the drill yourself or have specific question of the drill, call Board Supervisor, Nathan Gillespie at 513-839-0357 for a viewing date and time.
