The Butler SWCD offers a variety of printed materials regarding several different topics. Topics include, but are not limited to: pond management, erosion control, contractor list, streambank management, backyard habitat, drainage, conservation practices, academic activities and watershed issues. In our efforts to make more information available over the internet, downloadable copies of our most popular publications are becoming available over time. Four newsletters and an annual report are published during the year. The most recent newsletter and the 2005 annual report are available online at this site. The Tree & Groundcover Sale information is printed in the winter newsletter each year and is also available online.

The education newsletter, Accent on Conservation, is available online and in hard copy upon request. Activities and resources which focus on an even wider array of science-related subjects are available for teachers, students, parents and scout leaders. Topics include, but are not limited to: soil, water, worms, geology, trees, wetlands, fossils, pollution, weather, and water quality.
