May 1, 2010
Many locations along the banks of The Great Miami River
In 2009, volunteers collected about 20 tons of garbage and 200 tires from the banks of the Great Miami River. Please help us collect even more garbage this year? This is a great opportunity to get involved in your local community and help clean-up the Great Miami River.
T
his is an organized
and easy community service project that is fun for all sizes of groups
including: Schools, Scouts, Churches, and adult groups. There is a badge available for boy and girl scouts who participate.
A waiver will need to be signed by all participants and those 18 years of age or younger will need a parent or guardian signature. Pre-registration is available, and large groups are encouraged to pre-register. All materials for clean-up will be provided free of charge. Commemorative T-shirts will be distributed to each volunteer at the end of the event.
