We have combined the Project Learning Tree workshop with the Project WILD workshop that had to be canceled earlier this year. Attendees will receive both curricula.
Project Learning Trees new flagship curriculum Explore Your Environment: K-8 Activity Guide includes 50 hands-on, multidisciplinary activities to connect children to nature and increase young people’s awareness and knowledge about their environment. Activities include detailed step-by-step instructions, academic correlations, time and material requirements, and corresponding student worksheets with green career connections. This curriculum is designed to develop students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Project WILD is an interdisciplinary conservation and environmental education program that focuses on wildlife and habitat. The goal of Project WILD is to develop awareness, knowledge, skills, and commitment resulting in informed decisions, responsible behavior, and constructive actions concerning wildlife and the environment.
Who Should Attend: This workshop is tailored for anyone that works with students in Grades 1-5. Formal educators, park naturalists, homeschool parents, and more.
Cost: The books cost more than $70 and you will receive this along with many classroom resources for only $10. Refunds will only be provided if the workshop is canceled due to weather or Covid restrictions.

This workshop is provided by the Soil and Water Conservation District's of Butler, Clermont, Hamilon, and Warren Counties, and Warren County Park District.
