Volunteering
BEST Volunteer Events
Be one of the BEST and join Butler Soil and Water for Volunteer Stewardship Saturdays. Throughout the coming months, we plan to remove honeysuckle, label storm drains, clean up a stream, and collect stream biology samples. We have volunteer events that are suitable for all ages, and can sign volunteer paperwork for students.

River Cleanup
Clean Sweep of the Great Miami River will take place n Saturday, September 17, 2022. Find a location near you and sign up at www.cleansweepofthegreatmiamiriver.org
Butler County Stream Team

Water Quality

Get Hooked on Stream Health Workshop
August 3, 6 - 8 pm
At Sebald (Elk Creek) Metropark
5580 Elk Creek Rd, Middletown, OH 45042
Learn about the many species of fish found in local creeks, the join us in the creek to learn how to use a fish seine.
Participants should expect to be about knee deep in the creek (deeper than most regular rubber boots).
This workshop is for adults and teenagers (Age 12 and over).
