No Till Drill for Sale
The Board of Supervisors of the Butler Soil & Water Conservation District recently decided to terminate our no-till drill program and sell our 2006 model John Deere 1590 No-Till Drill. Sealed bids are due no later than 4pm on February 14. Please see our drill page for more information about the drill and the bid process.

Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist Program
The SWCDs and the Ohio State Extension offices in Butler and Hamilton are working together for training to bring this great program to SW Ohio. We are looking at offering the series of classes in August 2014.
Butler SWCD is joining with Warren County for the 2014 Tree Sale. Please note, this tree sale partnership will mean that sizes and prices will be different from years past, however there will be a greater selection of trees available.

March 8, 10 am - 12 noon at the Fairfield Community Arts Center. Learn about traditional outdoor composting and indoor composting with worms. Attendees have the option of creating their own worm bin to take home. Fees vary. Pre-registration is required.
