Virtual Pond Forum

Come joint us for our virtual pond forum as Dr. Braig presents on the "Top Five Pond Issues."  He will also address questions on pond aeration, algae & weed control, and more.

Invasive Plant Removal, Ruder Preserve, Oxford

Saturday, March 24, 2021 from 9 am - 12 noon.

Our goal for the day is to remove garlic mustard and other invasive plants, along with trash cleanup. 

Ruder Preserve is located on the corner of Shadowy Hills Sr and Bonham Road. Their is ample parking on Bonham Road.

If you have work gloves and loppers, please bring them with you. We will have equipment that can be borrowed. It is early Spring, so please be prepared to get muddy.

Poster Contest:
Healthy Forests - Healthy Communities

Each year, Butler SWCD works with local young artists to create posters focusing on a conservation message. This year's theme is “Healthy Forests = Healthy Communities"

New Teacher Resources Online

Butler SWCD has partnered with surrounding counties to provide free online resources (videos, lesson plans, quizzes, etc) all aligned to Ohio Learning Standards. Register for this free resource at https://sites.google.com/view/swcd

2021 Butler SWCD Board of Supervisors meetings will be held on the second Wednesday of each month at 3:30 pm. Unless otherwise noted.

Meetings are held at Butler SWCD, 1802 Princeton Rd, Hamilton OH 45011.

2021 Butler SWCD Board of Supervisors meetings will also be accessible via Zoom. If you would like to attend, please contact our office for the zoom meeting link and passcode.
