Dicks Creek Watershed Meeting
Date: Thursday, September 25

Location: Middletown MidPointe Library, 125 S Broad Street, Middletown, OH 45044

Butler and Warren SWCDs will be holding a Dicks Creek watershed meeting on September 25th at the Middletown MidPointe Library. This meeting will provide information to the community on the ongoing restoration efforts in the Dicks Creek watershed, including information on the Ohio EPA 9-element Nonpoint Source Implementation Strategy for Dicks Creek. Residents who live within the watershed, works or operates a business within the watershed, or is involved with any watershed programs or activities is welcome to come and voice their opinions.

Stream Maintenance Workshop

Big Tree Contest 2025
Butler SWCD is excited to announce our first Big Tree Contest! Participants can nominate native Red or White Oak species for the chance to win the title of 'Biggest Red Oak' or 'Biggest White Oak' of Butler County.

BEST Volunteer Events
​Be one of the BEST and join Butler SWCD's Butler Environmental Stewardship Team at one of our volunteer events throughout the year. We hold river cleanups, invasive plant removals, hold BioBlitzes, package milkweed seeds, and more. For a full list of this years projects, please visit our volunteer page.

Registration is requested to help with supplies and to send info if an event is canceled due to weather. Events are also posted about a month prior on Miami and UC community service website if you are a student needing to document hours.
